25 Jahre Dauerbetrieb - täglich 14'220 Durchfahrten - dies die Bilanz des rund 800m langen Spiezwilertunnel (Spiez - Kandersteg). Aktuell wird durch das Tiefbauamt des Kantons Bern die Betriebs- und Sicherheitsausrüstung ersetzt und auf das heutige Sicherheitsniveau angehoben.
Die REMTEC AG realisiert dabei als Sub-Lieferant der Tyco AG die Brandmeldeanlage Fahrbahn sowie als Sub-Lieferant der LETECH AG die gesamte Beleuchtungssteuerung. Die Ansteuerung und Dimmung der zukünftig installierten LED-Leuchtmittel erfolgt unter Verwendung des DALI-Protokolls.
Beide Systeme werden im Juli 2017 im Tunnel installiert und anschliessend in Betrieb genommen.
